Was this man living in my house? Holy smokes! I had to call my son in and read him a few chapters and apologize profusely! Apologize because I was the mom that did not completely understand some of these behaviors, myself. I thought some of these things he had the power to control. Not so. This book showed me that I needed to work on some ways of dealing with these behaviors and teaching him how to navigate through them.This book offered so much insight and so much in understanding this disorder! I was amazed!I can say that I have referred to this several times...I would like to give a copy of this book to the teachers he has, the teachers that he has had and the teachers he will have, as well as family members and friends that have believed that a good spanking was all he has ever needed. There are times, I'm sure, when a swat on the butt was in order, however, a lot of this was beyond OUR control.Thank you a million times over for shedding light on this subject. Life changing book!!
